Dear Mom(s)
DEAR MOM(s),
BY: WHITNEY REYNOLDS
We lead with grace, we have the grit,
We wipe up noses and try to stop fits.
We keep on going when our tanks run low,
We sing “Baby Shark” and memorize “Go Dogs Go.”
We pray for our babies & our neighbor's kids too,
We care for our world because that’s what we do.
We become master chefs, Mickey pancakes and all,
We give healing kisses when our kids take a fall.
"The Lion King" nailed it with the “Circle of Life”
We get nostalgic on birthdays & realize our mothers were right.
So today celebrate all that you’ve done,
Making eyeballs and fingers while cooking a bun.
Dear Mom(s), stay course with our gifts from above.
Celebrate your title and know this defines love.
